I am the creator of this website, which I put up to honor Kim's memory. I know how much Kim's family and friends must miss her. She's been a gone a long time--25 years now this October 31, 2008. I am not related to Kim or her family, or any of the Green River victims. Kim was only one of the girls whom Gary Ridgway brutally murdered. I felt they should be each acknowledged for the potential they had, and the fact that each met a terrifying death at the hands of a psychopath.
To help girls like Kim get out of this dangerous, terrible lifestyle, I am donating to the organization CHILDREN OF THE NIGHT, at http://www.childrenofthenight.org, which helps girls like Kim to get away from pimps, off drugs, and turn their lives around.
I am sure that given time, Kim would have made that decision herself and gotten away from the streets. However, Gary Ridgway made the decision for her and sadly, she's no longer with us.
Again, my deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Kim Nelson. I hope they may find peace and comfort in this website.
